i think the prince song is a mash-up, not an official daft punk remix

Jako said...

Nope, it's an official Daft Punk remix which can be found on the Daft Punk Remixes One vinyl.

see http://www.discogs.com/release/478621

That Franz one is a confirmed non-Daft Punk track though...

Anonymous said...

the album is unofficial and done by artists not known as Daft Punk.

Well, 'finally': concerning the troubles I had with different filehosters because of the bandwidth hypem caused me.

You don't get it, if you don't like my blog, nobody forces you to visit it, douche!

this is an insult to the daft
they are much more creative, you should know that.

the only thing here that is legit daft is the aerodynamic track which they did remix on daft club

i just clicked on this link off hypem cuz i thought "wow some 'new' daft remixes"...wat i got was filth. if daft did the franz ferdinand and prince remixes i will hang my head in shame. otherwise u can

To make this clear:
On the vinyl(!) it says "Daft Punk remix", for both Franz Ferdinand and Prince, if there are mislabelled vinyls out, it's really not my fault, so please stop complaining!

It's been awhile, but I thought i'd throw this in:
Daft punk Remixes One vinyl is white label, unofficial.
However, the Franz Ferdinand remix was released on three separate items, a 12" single, CD single, and 12" promo as a Daft Punk remix. All three of these were released directly by Franz Ferdinand's record label, and I seriously doubt they'd lie about it.
